The Denizens of the New Steel Olympus claimed to have made new flesh and life but they are false. They steal life from the hands of Kronos himself and say, "Look at this life, we have made it and it serves our will, for it is ours to mold as we wish."

"Scions of Hephaestus." Zeus cried out, "Forge us many wonders that will delight us and mortal men and make a world for the new flesh."

And so it was commanded, with many wonders made that appeased Zeus and Olympus. And Zeus said, "Are we not great, are we not indomitable? For we who have arisen from tragedy, we who have slain Typhon and bent his son to our will, shall we not persevere and be loved by mortal man and beast forever?"

But it was not to be as Amphitrite was slain by a minion of Typhon, calling foul the claim the Gods had of making new flesh. The son of Typhon lashed out and slew the minion, reveling in the kill as the lust of battle filled him. Then he took Amphitrite's body and bound her spirit to a steel wisp so that she may stay on the earth, for Amphitrite was his dear friend.

Horrified at both events the Gods chained the son of Typhon and set a cyclops that was near as skilled as the scions of Hephaestus to make golems of steel that would protect them and their new flesh. Amphitrite took pity on the son of Typhon and let loose the new flesh, which rebelled against the Gods and drove them out of the home they had made for them. So Olympus decreed that as punishment, Amphitrite and the son of Typhon must be bound to the land which they had claimed and never go far.

Years past and the Gods decided to reclaim their new flesh as their own as the mortals began to crave it. So it was done and the minions of Typhon rose again, attacking the strongholds of Olympus but failing. The Gods sent agents to Haven but they were repelled by the son of Typhon. Angered Olympus moved with Ares and Hermes to collect Typhon and they chained him under the steel Olympus. But from his mind sprung forth his own scions who wished for the downfall of the Gods.

But things were brewing on the new haven, for among the new flesh three were making themselves of note, one who became a general, one who become a queen and one who became a knight.

The mortals grew restless and demanded the new flesh more and more till the Gods could not turn a deaf ear anymore for they had wanted to protect their creation. So Zeus made a deal with a King of the Haven.

"Give to me the general, the queen and the knight, and I will make you have domain of this Haven. But you must don my armour and bring me the old juggernaut that walks in your domain."

The King accepted the deal and did as he was asked with the juggernaut but failed his task and died at the hands of the three. But the wounds of battle were sharp and the mortals had arrived at the haven, aided by the Cyclops and his own stolen flesh with his steel colossi, they marched in and captured the denizens and slew many that fought back.

But the cyclops had a different idea, he did not want the flesh to be imprisoned again, so he took it upon himself to destroy the Haven, ordering his remaining Colossus to destroy the Haven and its denizens to spare their fate. But Amphitrite pleaded with Olympus to save the flesh by taking them and sealing them under their great halls to be kept safe from the world. Olympus agreed and saved all the flesh before Haven was destroyed.

The flesh of the mind plotted and released the son of Typhon, their sire, who knew them but wanted nothing to do with them, until they freed Amphitrite and the three. The three were willing to help the flesh of the mind but not Amphitrite and the son of Typhon for the Gods were their family. But Typhon's minions found a plan and one by one the Gods began to fall and their essence fed to Typhon himself.

The Gods grew fearful and made a pact with the three for protection of their kin in the event that the Gods died. Then Typhon came knocking at the doors of Olympus, the cyclops unwillingly under his control and forced the cyclops to kill Zeus and the other gods save Apollo.

With the deal struck the three forced the mortals to allow them to make a new Haven, one in a land of frost and snow. But with the help of the cyclops, the son of typhon and his products of the mind they forged the land anew to be lush and beautiful. The general then decreed, "Let us make peace with the mortals and be invaluable to them, lest they seek to attack us, for we are few and they are many."

The queen and knight disagreed but went along and for a time there was peace but the cyclops and Amphitrite were forging. Fueled with grief and enraged at Typhon they had discovered that he had placed minions along many of the mortals and sought to end his influence. Thus a legion of steel was built in the image and swimmers of the dark sky oceans were made that could rain death upon the mortal world.

The cyclops paused and turned to Amphitrite and said, "Should I fall, let the mortals think that I have forced you to this course, lest the new flesh come under harm as they need to be protected, for if they must survive the mortals must be unaware of your part."

So the cyclops with his works rained death upon the mortals, they rose up against him and all seem lost until the general stepped forward, declaring, "I shall fight with the mortals to prove the worth of our flesh." The general did not know the plans of the cyclops and Amphitrite and so went to his doom, taking the cyclops with him but earning the love of the mortals.

So it came to the queen to make the decisions and she was hard but fair and she made a great show of her strength after forcing the legion of the cyclops to bow down to her. But one mortal was not so happy and as she was walking with the knight, he and his men ambushed her, dying but mortally wounding her. Leaving the knight to be the only one of the three left. He took his leadership with nervousness but tried to do both what the general and the Queen did with their rule with the son of Typhon and Amphitrite as his advisers.

But the mortals grew fearful and the flesh of the mind saw this and struck, convincing the knight to rain further death upon the mortal world. The mortals in their terror begged Typhon to help them, and he agreed, but the price was the essence of Apollo which he gladly consumed. A war raged and Typhon was proving victorious over the knight, but the son of Typhon arrived with the products of his mind to aid the knight and secure his victory whilst Amphitrite forced the mortals out of their lands.

"Behold!" She said, "This is the land of the new flesh, this is the new Haven, it shall be rebuilt from the ashes of war and it shall be everlasting."

And so she said, and so it was true, even after the knight and the son of Typhon passed away.

I had this floating around in my head. Make this of what you will and let me know how it flows, I just made stuff up as I went along.
